Participation form and costs, click here and Itinerary, click here! 4-6-12 - Letter from All Wheel Alignment & Brake offering services in California area! 4-6-12 - Gulf Stream Recalls 2001-2005 Class A and C Motorhomes Gulf Stream is recalling model year 2001-2005 Class A and Class C RVs, built on floorplans 6316, 6317, 6330, 8325 and 8328, due to a section of unsecuredwiring, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Models mentioned in the recall include the Cavalier, produced in 2002-2003; the Conquest, manufactured in 2001-2005; the Endura, made in 2004-2005; the Independence constructed in 2003-2005; the Ultra produced in 2001-2005; and the Yellowstone, manufactured in 2001-2005. Potentially 1,502 units are affected,according to NHTSA. The wiring within the raceway on the recalled RVs may not be properly secured,leading to wear and potential heat development between the exposed wiring andheated refrigerator coils, according to NHTSA. This condition could lead to failure of the 110-volt electrical wiring routed to the microwave cabinet,increasing the risk of fire, personal injury, or property damage. Gulf Stream will notify owners and dealers will repair the vehicles for free,according to NHTSA. notification schedule. Owners may contact Gulf Stream at 1-800-289-8787, ext. 3752. A&E Network shines a light on couples dealing with in-laws as they try to make peace with the help of an unconventional, no-nonsense relationship expert in the new original real-life series "Monster In-Laws". Both Jack and Joan have passed, but our club honors them with a deserving member each year earning the Katz Award. The Katz Award member receives a plaque to display in his/her coach for the year. The 2011 Katz Award winner was Janet McCamly. 2-9-12 - BT Cruisers Spring Rally info: BT Cruisers Mississippi Gulf Coast Rally as of 2/7/12 We currently have 15 rigs that have made campground reservations for the rally. A reminder for all that have not made reservations, that campground reservations need to be made by Feb 15. After that it will be as space is available. Registration forms need to be submitted by March 1. Cliff and Pat Oaks have developed a fun filled agenda and we look forward to getting started RVing with old and new friends in a new year. Ray Cone 2-9-12 - Gulf Stream International Chapter of FMCA information on pre-rally August 23-26, 2012 To all Gulf Streamers: Information about the up-coming pre-rally in Anderson Indiana to the Indy from Frank & Mary Bagnoli: We are looking forward to a successful turn out. We have reserved 25 sites at the Timberline Valley RV Resort Campgrounds in Anderson, In., which is 42 miles from Indy Fairgrounds. So far, we have around 10 units registered. Activity are in the works, but so far we have dinner and entertainment at a local casino and a cookout another evening at the Campground. Timberline is an FMCA approved campground and offers a discount to members. There are 12 - 50amp Pull-thru and 6 - 30amp pull thru sites. The rest are back-in sites. All are full hook-up. We might be able to get more than 25 sites, if we all register early. Several of the RV Parks are already booked for that weekend or don't have enough sites for our group, and are charging as high as $62/night. Our rate is discounted to $28 for 50amp and $25 for 30amp, which includes a shelter for meetings & get togethers. EVERYONE needs to make their own reservations for camping under the name of Gulf Stream Inter'l. FMCA Club. The nights reserved are Aug. 23 thru Aug. 25th. We plan on carvaning into the Indy Rally on Sunday Aug. 26th. Please note that you need to be a member of FMCA to caravan and park with the group and own a motorized unit.
