Area Covered:

Our April outing was held at Chula Vista RV Resort in Chula Vista. This park is south of San Diego. The Marina and great Restaurants are with in walking distant of this park.

We had a total of 18 Rigs and our Wagon Masters were Bill and Jean Ponn, Roger and Adrienne Canup, and John and Sara Chamberlain. This outing had a “Western theme”, with out the guns and horses.

Several of the group started showing up Wednesday and Thursday. Thursday a large group of us went to the local restaurant for “all you can eat Fish & Chips.

Friday we had a great day of golf at Bonita Golf Course. I had the lowest score of the group but then I was keeping score.

Saturday we had our meeting and after that we had the “Horse Races”.
There was something wrong with my horse he kept coming in last. After the race I learned several things. The rider and horse should not eat before the race. And always swing a big whip. Also if necessary, a laxative to lighten the load of both the horse and the rider before the race. Some great prizes were given out by the Wagon Masters to the winners.

After the horse races we headed to the horseshoe pits with out the horses.

A great dinner was provided by our Wagon Masters. The tri Tip steak that was provided was second to none.
After dinner we played the “candy game” Do you know your candy bars?
If you are not a big candy bar eater you tend to forget.

This was another great outing with great weather to boot. The Wagon Masters did an outstanding job. A big thanks from all.

Our next outing will be held at Canyon Lake, May 14th to the 16th.
