Our rally on September 11-15, 2008 was FUN-FUN!! If you haven't been to the Ringling Circus Museum in Sarasota FL, it's a must do for any age.  Thanks to our hosts for planning the trip for us.

It's with a heavy heart that the Florida Manatees say many thanks to Our Family RV of N. Ft. Myers FL. They have closed their dealership. But being the great person she is, Heather Leigh prepared a wonderful breakfast for the chapter. So many sticky/gooey goodies!  We will surely miss them all. Thanks again from the Florida Manatees.

Now on a happier note: we have a member who won't let dog walkers out do her.  She walks her fish, "Killer."  Now that is true love for your pet.

Thanks to Bill Koster #14582, we now have a very well built coffee drip catcher.  No more mess under the coffee maker.

The Florida Manatees enjoyed a tasty meal at an Amish Restaurant, thanks to GULF STREAM.
All the officers were re-elected. Guess they are doing their job!! Either that or they can't say NO.

Want a way to gather members around a table (other than with food)? Put out a 1,000-piece puzzle.  Suzanne Palczynski #241 had one of manatees. Seems everyone took a turn, some for hours on end.

Spring Rally is 16-20 April 2009. The hosts will be Karen/Ted Glas #13078 and Marilyn/John Brent #11700. They have chosen South Bay Campground in South Bay FL, just south of Clewiston FL on US 27.  The rally is still in the planning stage.  But we all know there will be Food/Fun!!

The Fall Rally is 10-14 September 2009.  Florida Manatees will gather at Thousand Palms RV Resort located on RT 44 between Wildwood and Inverness FL. Hosts will be Suzanne/Don Palczynski #241. Who knows, maybe another puzzle—a tournament on the three-hole golf course. Remember — Pop & Pull.
