The Gulf Streamers International Office would like to acknowledge Web sites as a great way to communicate with our members and to bring in new members, so we are having a Web site contest! The Web sites will be judged by our Information Services department, who will not be participating in the contest.
	Entries will be judged by the following criteria: Basic Web Site Conditions 1. Easy and fast to load 2. No broken or dead links 3. Content is up to date 4. No spelling or grammatical errors Content 1. Use of Gulf Streamers logo as well as a chapter logo 2. Current chapter news 3. Photos 4. Outing schedule 5. Contact information 6. Useful “off site” links - addresses, etc. Bonus material 1. Creative use of site 2. Pleasing layout and design 3. Back issues of chapter newsletter 4. Current rally agenda
	A newsletter is another great way to keep your chapter informed and involved. We invite you to enter your chapter’s best newsletter that was sent out to your entire membership between May 1, 2005, and May 1, 2006. Conditions that will be judged will be identification (Gulf Stream and/or chapter logo, name, address, location, etc.), content including current outings, upcoming schedule, officer contact information and other useful information, design and readability, use of graphics such as pictures or artwork, and overall creativity.
Both competitions are open to all chapters, and the deadline for the competitions is May 31, 2006. We will present the winners with awards at the International Rally in June. Chapters can enter both contests, but to enter, a chapter must have their current membership roster on file with the International Office.
